Thankfully, modders are always making solutions to these problems. Brittpinkiesims has created a Baby Shower Mod that allows you to have a base game compatible baby shower with its own tasks and everything.

The Instant Morning Sickness mod by Polar Bear Sims is simple and just removes the uncomfortable moodlet from your pregnant sims. The Labor Puddles Mod created by Polar Bear Sims is an awesome and simple mod that will get your sim to have a nice puddle appear when they go into labour, just like if their water was breaking. It seems like every single sim in the game is going to be generically happy about getting pregnant unless they have the hates children trait.

The Pregnancy Mood Buffs mod by ZafiSims makes it possible for your sims to feel sad, embarrassed, tense, uncomfortable, or angry about their pregnancy! Some players like the mystery of not knowing their Sims are pregnant immediately, but it kind of gets spoiled by the uncomfortable moodlet that they get hours before they're actually sick.

What people may have not noticed or known before is that pregnancy makes a Sim practically immortal. No harm can come their way, nor can they age up while they're still pregnant. For those who want a bit more story progression and tragedy, there's a mod out there that does it.

In fact, for just fun gameplay this might be the wrong mod, but if a player wants to tell a story, this is a great addition for a bit of realism. What's one thing that most pregnant women have to deal with during and after pregnancy?

Stretch marks. Some women feel self-conscious about it, but there's nothing wrong with having stretch marks! And a wide variety of Simmers think so too with the number of stretch mark skin details that are available.

These by Katybug are a very good set for light and dark skin sims. The Sims 4 doesn't include stretch marks as skin details in the game not yet at least but now with Katybug's and others' custom content you can bring a touch more realism to your Sim's pregnancy. For some simmers, depending on their play style, the length of a sim's pregnancy can either be too long or too short. A pregnancy in The Sims 4 typically lasts 3 to 5 in-game days. For some, that's too long since pregnant Sims are limited to what activities they can do.

And for others, that's too short for those who want to cherish the experience of their Sims having a baby. Havem's Pregnancy Time mod lets you change how long your Sim is pregnant. You can choose to have it last as short as a day or as long as days in-game! Going into labor in The Sims 4 is pretty much the same as a Sim just being very uncomfortable, which sort of takes away from the immersion. Sometimes, the water breaks and it's a very real situation that unfortunately doesn't exist in the game as of now.

This mod adds a lot of interesting interactions including the ability to hire a minister who will then say a word over the grave so you can get some rewards, that's if your funeral gets a gold award of course! Funeral Mod. Is your sim feeling depressed? Then download this mod and bring real life into your game. Our Elders always need a little more tender care and understanding and it's no different in the Sims. This mod gives you the ability for your elders to 'Ask to fix phone', Gossip about neighbors kids', I've life advice.

Sacrificial has been creating indepth mods for some time now and the extreme violence mod is one that may not be to everyone's taste, but with the amount of 'extreme violence' that is apparent in the real world, adding this to your game can give a realistic feel depending on how you want your Sims to live their lives. The Sims characters are created with amazing detail, but one that is missing and wanted by the community is 'the height slider' and thankfully a wonderful modder by the name of Luumia has done just that.

Make Sims of all sizes and shapes with this brilliant mod. No longer shall your Sims be height bound. Another amazing mod by Sacrificial is Lifes Tragedies, and it does exactly what it states and adds realistic tragedies into your gameplay such as getting sick to the point it could threaten your Sims life but also events like being hit by a car too! To add true-life realism into your game this is a mod you will surely want to add.
